When I get a little fed up with triggering and stuff I sometimes mess around with my websites and the artworks on it. All the graphics you find here ( save the Aom and the SwbG logo) and the website itself is created by me. Obviously the screenshots are from the different games however I made those scenarios and shot the screenies .
The Vandhaal is also a member of the Tsunami Studios Real Time Strategy design team.
Tsunami Studios is one of the most famous and oldest Real Time Strategy scenario design teams, founded by Inquizative in 1999. The team has come a long way since then and had many credits to their title, including several "Best of" projects for various games. Tsunami Studios has active members in Age of Kings, Age of Mythology, Empires, and Stronghold and will move also into the new Age of Empires 3 game.Only the best Artists and Designers are invited to join this elite organisation. Tsunami Studios will continue to put forth epic projects and scenarios as time progresses. Tsunami Studios has released more than over 200+ projects for the various game titles.
The university of Tsunami Studios is called the Tsuniversity. The Tsuniversity (TSU) is a unique online university dedicated to scenario design, and a comprehensive library of articles, tutorials, and resources for scenario designers.
Some short histroy for those who care
I touched a scenario editor of an Rts game for the first time in the Command and Conquer Red Alert game. Later games as for example StarCraft followed. These first experiments where not very serious and on a regular base. I started scenario design some years ago and my designing intensified during the period in which both of of my parents got very ill ( My mother got diagnosed to have terminal cancer and my Father had a very heavy second stroke which damaged his body permanetly). In the period between the final stage of my Mothers live untill she died from cancer I used the game design to ease my mind as I couldn't get this done with my outside world designing and creating of Fine Art.These events where ( and still are ) also the reason I got into scenario design more seriously. In this period I created the StarWars Galactic battlegrounds project called Episode 10 The Hidden Force. This project was build up out of a series of games within one big Storyline.The content of Episode 10: the Hidden force was as follows: A 6 scenario counting multiplayer campaign, 2 singleplayer campaigns with a total of 20 scenarios and 2 multiplayer battle scenario series containing 5 scenarios.In total I have created a lot of Rts scenarios with various quality (some are crappy) for different games. During the year 2004 I started also designing for Aom. After some initial try out projects I started with the campaign project The Ring Of The Nibelungen Act 1: The Rhinegold. In this year I also joined the Tsunami Studios design team.
I see these little game designs just as a hobby. My main goal is to have fun and in the process of that try to create some nice stuff. So don't worry I am not like those immature morons who have no life and see their hobby as a professional job. In the future I will probably explore some new game titles ( that is if I can find some games which grab my attention ).However I must say I can never abandon a game for good.... I keep replaying my old games regularly.
